Μία εξερεύνηση στον... Ήλιο!

The Solar Orbiter and lander Solar Probe Plus is expected to reach close to the Sun, about four and six years after launch, respectively.
The exploration of the Sun is not easy. Vehicles must withstand high temperatures and sensitive instrumentation will shielded with powerful shields. We "see" the sun only through very small openings in the shield.
There should operate under extreme conditions: indeed it is planned to make measurements at temperatures hundreds of degrees Celsius. Scientists believe that through these measurements will be able to explain many mysteries of the solar activity.
The photographs of the Sun will be breathtaking. Will face flaming tongues landscapes and gases hurled hundreds to thousands of kilometers into space. Will we see more clearly than ever what lies within sunspots above the Earth's surface.
When the two new spacecraft leave Earth bound the brightest body in the sky, we hope to learn much more about solar activity such as large flares that affect the Earth's atmosphere and affect our daily lives, for example with the holidays electricity and communications.
