Press & Play Management branches out even further and unveils its new Evolution brand. Evolution is a production company orchestrating various music events, each attached to their own unique concept. The first one to launch is ClubEvolution which is a mobile party aimed strictly at clubs around Greece and, of course, worldwide.
The first ClubEvolution will take place on October 6th 2012, and we will be inviting UMEK's 1605 record label to Athens once again. The lineup will be comprised of UMEK and 1605 Creatures Uto Karem, Christian Cambas and Rena Bak. In this event we are essentially bringing together DJs and producers who have pushed the envelope forward through 1605 and have created scene-altering waves with tracks that have become hits and, in many cases, have also crossed over to more mainstream avenues.
Evolution, however, does not limit its action to clubs. The groundwork is already complete for projects such as:
- WarehouseEvolution (Such as the 1605 night we put together at the Building 56 warehouse in Athens)
- BeachEvolution (Such as the Sabotage Beach Party we hosted in 2010)
- RoofEvolution (Secret Rooftop Parties)
- FestivalEvolution (Such as the 4G Festival that we organized in Athens)
- LabEvolution (Workshops and labs featuring artists and label executives)
- RadioEvolution (Next-level radio integration)
Our company is renowned for its groundbreaking artist and label management. UMEK, Christian Smith, Spektre, Christian Cambas and Spartaque are the artists who we proudly manage and help evolve, while the labels under our wing are 1605 (UMEK), Tronic (Christian Smith), MB Elektronics (Marco Bailey), Say What? (Ramon Tapia),
Pornographic (Cristian Varela) and Kombination Research (The Advent & Industrialyzer).
Press & Play Management was established in 2008, yet the people behind it have been active in the Athens club scene since 2001, showcasing a steadfast course through these turbulent times of the industry.
